  • Horizontal reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 vacancies (distributed as: Blind/Low Vision – 4; Deaf/Hard of Hearing – 3; Locomotor Disabilities – 1; Autism/SLD/MI/MD – 2).

Eligibility Criteria (as on February 23, 2026)

  • Educational Qualification: Graduation from a recognized university with a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute (wpm) on a computer.
  • Age Limit: 18 to 32 years as on January 1, 2026 (born not earlier than January 2, 1994, and not later than January 1, 2008).
    • Age Relaxation:
      • SC/ST: 5 years
      • OBC-NCL: 3 years
      • PwBD (General/EWS): 10 years
      • PwBD (OBC): 13 years
      • PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
      • Ex-Servicemen: 3 years (after deduction of military service; up to 45 years for disabled defense personnel, 50 years for SC/ST)
  • Only qualifications from government-recognized institutions are accepted, and results must be declared by the application deadline.

Selection Process

The recruitment involves multiple stages:

  1. Preliminary Examination (Qualifying, Computer-Based Test – CBT): 120 marks, 120 minutes.
    • Sections: English Language & Comprehension (45 marks), General Awareness/Current Affairs (45 marks), General Intelligence/Reasoning/Numerical Ability (30 marks).
    • Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer.
    • Qualifying Marks: 60 (General), 54 (Reserved/PwBD).
  2. Main (Descriptive) Examination.
  3. English Typing Test.
  4. Interview.
